Situations Behavior
Dealing as the community of Kingdom Culture:
We expect all Members to respect one another, treating each other as if they were family. We are all brothers and sisters in the body of Christ and the main way division happens is when lack of respect and love shows up in our dealings with each other. Leave no room for the enemy, choose love.
If you have an issue with leadership, teachers, members or just discipline issues with other families; please pray first, then bring the matter up in love. Seek reconciliation if it can be found. We will follow a biblical model for settling grievances. All instances of sexual misconduct will be reported to local law enforcement. Adults other than family may not accompany children to the restroom alone. We will use a buddy system and monitors to help with this specific need. Bathroom doors will remain cracked at all times and hall monitors will regularly make rounds.
Etiquette
Please be on time. We’re not asking for perfection, just sincere effort. We need you to be punctual to your assigned volunteer positions especially. Please be prepared for whatever duty you have volunteered for. This is a form of loving one another! Please be eager to jump in and help, and to volunteer with tasks and needs (we are volunteer based!). No cell phones in classes please. We also want to guard against content from being shared inside the community that is not given permission by parents to their children. For this reason, please limit phone usage during co-op hours. We ask that all PDA be left between spouses.
Children
We expect children to listen to instruction, and promptly obey their instructor. If they are unsure what they are being asked or have reservations about obeying, please instruct them to get you and ask for your help. If a teacher or assistant has an issue, whether it be distraction, obedience or inappropriate conduct, they will fill out a postcard that will be delivered to the parent at the end of class. During the class time, if an offense is repeated, the assistant will find the parent and they will have to accompany the child until the class is over. (Their duties will need to be passed to a friend until the period is over). 3 postcard offenses will result in removal from the class and a game plan meeting will be scheduled with the parent, to try and identify ways in which the situation or behavior can improve collectively.
(We understand there can be sensory, attention, neurological, spiritual and counseling issues that may need to be addressed and will work with the parent on these issues for the benefit of the child). Parents who are uninterested in addressing discipline issues will not be welcome in returning the following semester. Consideration is the goal here, we’re happy to work as a team!
Clothing
Please dress modestly - avoid short shorts and no low cut shirts or mid-drift clothing or excessively tight clothing.. This applies to children as well. There will be male and female in the building and we want to live and operate above reproach keeping in mind how God has created each sex, and limit opportunities for distraction.
We do not mind non-offensive clothing with characters or sayings etc. Colorful words, even though not a cuss word, are not encouraged (stupid, sucks, etc). Think less is more in this area. We prefer no politically charged, medically charged, judgemental kind of clothing. We all love Jesus, give grace and space! We won’t allow any clothing that depicts witchcraft, ghosts, vampires (even vampirina), sorcery, scary monsters (like fanged dragons or zombie kind of things) or artwork, sinful lifestyles, alcohol, drugs, or the like.
Language
Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
No cussing, intentional gossiping, sexually charged comments, and please try to refrain from using PG13 words as we have many young ears over-hearing your conversations.
Soliciting
We all have companies and income sources. We want to keep solicitation to a minimum and to be mainly conversational. We will have workshop nights and a permanent board where members can share their specialties or companies with the group. Curriculum does not fall in the category of solicitation.
Banned Items
It should go without saying, but we’ll say it anyway. No drugs, no profanity, no smoking or vaping anywhere near or in the coop building or KCE get-togethers or where children are present.
Allergies
We may have children with severe allergies. If you are a parent of a child with allergies, it is your duty to speak with us and each class instructor to make aware of your child's needs. We will do all we can to help you have a healthy and safe time at KCE.
Romans 12:9-17
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[c] Do not be conceited. 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

We believe the world was created by God in 7 days. (Genesis 2:2)

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the works of the Holy Spirit as outlined by scripture (1 Corinthians 12).
-
We believe there are only two spiritual forces on earth - God and Satan, Angels and Demons, Heaven and Hell.
-
We believe all other religions, outside of the belief in Jesus Christ as the one and only Son of God, are false.
-
We believe that it is by grace that we are saved, not through works.
-
We believe marriage is only between one biological man and one biological female. (Mark 10:6)

We believe in personal freedom as given to each American Citizen through the Constitution of the United states of America, which gives each person rights over their own bodies whether that be medically, philosophically or spiritually.
-
We will never require masks, we will never require vaccines, we will never require anything that challenges your right to your own God given bodily autonomy.
-
We will set a tone of Freedom in our group and will remove anyone who is challenging another members right to these freedoms (verbally or beyond).
-
We believe the Constitution of the United States of America and the Declaration of Independence was the inspired work of God (not infalliable) through our founding fathers and should be upheld as written.
